DELIVERABLES
- Visual design for
- home page
- ballot page
- results page
- interior text content page (e.g. "About this site")
- Each page design to include
- design comp as layered Photoshop (or equivalent) file
- browser-neutral, valid XHTML + CSS (table-less) layout
- Master CSS style sheet for site
- All graphics/illustrations used in designs (both displayable versions and layered source files)
- Site logo in 3 sizes - home page, interior page, small (e.g. for widget)
- Favicon
- Brief style guide with specs for typography, color palette. layout grid (to the extent these are not already clear from the above items)
- Unrestricted, perpetual, royalty-free rights to use of design and all elements after acceptance and payment
SCHEDULE
- Seeking final deliverables by end of Friday 6/22/07.
- Preliminaries should be provided soon enough to allow meeting final delivery date if rapid feedback response is provided.
GUIDELINES
- Optimize for 1024 x 768 screen (should degrade gracefully for 800 x 600, but liquid layout not required), center horizontally on larger displays.
- Layouts should be consistent across Win/Mac/Linux and IE6+, Firefox 1.5+, Safari
- General look should be a melding of lightweight, clutter-free "Web2.0-style" designs and political / patriotic / election related look and imagery (see referenced sites and comments)
- Spot graphics / illustrations can use traditional US political symbols (e.g. elephant for Republican, donkey for Democrat) but should try to do so in a contemporary, fresh way.
